			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Capital region physician Dr. Michael Dailey interviewed on Fox 23 news after an 11 year old Colonie little league player survives a sudden cardiac arrest.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Everyone did what they were supposed to on Monday to put the chain of survival into effect, calling 911 and starting CPR on the young man&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Thanks to a quick response by Colonie police first responders providing CPR &amp; Colonie EMS crews advanced life support treatment, the patient was revived.</p>
<p>Dailey reminds everyone that prompt CPR the key to survival &amp; urges the New York State legislature to pass a bill for all graduating high school students to learn this simple life saving skill.</p>

<p>Unfortunately 14 year old Emily Adamczak did not receive bystander CPR when she went into sudden cardiac arrest in 2009. Since then her mother Annette has become an outspoken advocate for CPR &#038; AED training that could have saved her daughters life. </p>
